PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To drive two developer supply containers in the same direction with a single motor, while allowing the two developer supply containers to be mounted on/dismounted from the device body smoothly.SOLUTION: A drive switching mechanism 53 is provided which selects one of two developer supply containers, as a power transmission path from a single motor, the containers being driven via drive input gears 113c, 113d, respectively. The drive switching mechanism 53 includes an output gear 57 which is rotated by the motor, a swing gear 59 which is rotated by the rotating output gear 57, and a moving gear 61 which is rotated by the rotating swing gear 59. The swing gear 59 can swing between a position connected to the drive input gear 113c to enable power transmission and a position retracted from the drive input gear 113c. The moving gear 61 can move between a position connected to the drive input gear 113d to enable power transmission and a position retracted from the drive input gear 113d. |
