#CMT# #/CMT# The method involves providing a tile body (10) including an upper surface and a lower surface, where a portion of the upper surface presents pores to have photovoltaic cells (12). A transparent lid (15) is placed on the body above the photovoltaic cells. The pores of the portion are blocked by polymeric liquid and electrically insulating material. An electrically insulating, transparent, liquid polymeric material is injected into a cavity (16) that is defined by the body and the lid so as to encapsulate the cells. The polymeric materials are hardened. #CMT# : #/CMT# The tile body is made of terra cotta, cement and concrete. An independent claim is also included for a photovoltaic tile. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Method for manufacturing a photovoltaic tile using a plane porous substrate and arched porous substrate. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The method enables injection of the electrically insulating, transparent, liquid polymeric material into the cavity that is defined by the body and the lid so as to encapsulate the cells, where the polymeric materials are hardened, so that leakage currents entering through the tile body are avoided, thus ensuring manufacturing of the substrate at low costs and large volume, and hence obtaining a cheap photovoltaic tile. #CMT#DESCRIPTION OF DRAWINGS : #/CMT# The drawing shows a partial sectional view of a photovoltaic tile. 10 : Tile body 12 : Photovoltaic cells 15 : Transparent lid 16 : Cavity 17 : Insulating layer.
|
