<p>#CMT# #/CMT# The gliding board i.e. ski (1) has a core (5) on a portion of the length of the board. An upper sub-assembly (11) and a lower sub-assembly (12) are placed on the core, and lateral edges (6, 7) surround the core, where the lateral edges are partially made from a thermocompressed fibrous material. The density of the lateral edges ranges between 0.8 and 1.2, preferably between 0.9 and 1, and the Young's modulus of the lateral edges ranges between 10 and 20 Gpa, preferably ranging between 13 and 17 GPa, where the edges are made of thermocompressed bamboo. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Gliding board i.e. ski. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The lateral edges surrounding the core are partially made from the thermocompressed fibrous material, thus ensuring perfect transmission of forces between the top of the ski and the edges while absorbing vibrations.
