摘要 <p>A display device according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises; a prewar pixel including a liquid crystal layer; a data line which delivers data voltage by being connected to a former pixel, a current pixel, and each pixel; a first gate line, a second gate line, and a third gate line which deliver gate on voltage by being connected to the prewar pixel, the former pixel, and the current pixel; a gate driving unit which applies the gate on voltage to the gate lines; a data driving unit which applies the gate on voltage to the data line; and a signal control unit which controls the operation of the gate driving unit and the data driving unit. The gate on voltage which is applied to the third gate line connected to the current pixel comprises a first pre-charging period, a second pre-charging period, and a current charging period. The data voltage is applied to the prewar pixel, the former pixel, and the current pixel in order. When the current pixel is charged to an objective voltage, the signal control unit controls the gate driving unit to apply the gate on voltage to the gate line connected to the current pixel selectively in the first pre-charging period wherein the prewar pixel is charged and a second pre-charging period wherein the former pixel is charged. According to an embodiment of the present invention, unnecessary power consumption can be reduced and display quality can be improved by charging voltage which is applied to a pixel.</p>
