A method and an apparatus for interference alignment in a cellular network is disclosed. The method for the interference alignment in the cellular network may include receiving by a base station an improper signal from a terminal and decoding by the base station the improper signal based on an improper decoding vector, wherein the improper signal is a signal created only with a modulation symbol corresponding to a real number value, the improper decoding vector is determined based on an improper pre-coding vector, and the improper pre-coding vector divides the real number space and imaginary number space of a received signal with the real number value only. |
