Provided are a lens array which is suitable for a fly-eye optical assembly and comprises a plurality of lens parts having high-precision optical faces while being comparatively miniature, a lens array stack, and a method for fabrication thereof. This lens array comprises: a plurality of lens parts formed integrally from a thermoplastic resin and positioned two-dimensionally; a flange part which extends about the circumferences of the plurality of lens parts; and a circumference-shaped rim-part which is located at the periphery of the flange part and protrudes further than the periphery portion of the flange part in the direction of the optical axis of the lens parts. A first alignment part for carrying out an alignment with other components is disposed upon a first face of the protrusion side of the rim part and/or a second face of the opposite side thereto, and the second face is located closer than the periphery portion of the flange part to the first face side.
