<p>A portable secure anchor device may comprise a shaft having a proximal end, a distal end having a helical surface located at the distal end, and a housing which rotatably receives the proximal end of the shaft. The housing may include a locking mechanism in communication with an internal engagement mechanism connected to the proximal end of the shaft. The locking mechanism may have two or more positions, which either locks the internal engagement mechanism and allows the anchor device to be inserted or removed from the ground, or allows the engagement mechanism to freely spin and not be able to remove the anchor device from the ground.</p> |
