PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve beauty by securing continuity of printing of a pattern print image between repeat unit regions even when regular arrangement of the pattern print image is optionally set.SOLUTION: A PC 217 for operating a tape printer 1 follows a procedure of generating identical pattern print images by printing at a plurality of places in regular arrangement in repeat unit regions for repetitive printing with a predetermined unit length Lt in a conveyance direction of a tape 150 to be printed, a procedure of setting a row interval Dg, a column interval Dr, and an oblique angle based upon a reference direction of the pattern print images as a row direction, and a procedure of adjusting the predetermined unit length Lt in the regular arrangement so as to impart periodicity. The procedure of adjusting the regular arrangement includes one of column interval adjustment for approximately adjusting column intervals Dr in an arrangement adjustment region and row interval adjustment for approximately adjusting row intervals Dg in the arrangement adjustment region. |
