PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary compressor which does not make the supply amount of refrigeration oil to a low pressure side of a compression chamber excessive, and increases the supply amount of the refrigeration oil to a high pressure side.SOLUTION: A rotary compressor includes: a cylinder which has a cylinder chamber, a vane storing portion extending outward in a diametrical direction from the cylinder chamber, and a spring insertion hole extending inward in the diametrical direction from an outer peripheral surface; a roller disposed in the cylinder chamber, and driven by an electric motor; an upper block member and a lower block member disposed on both sides in an axial direction of the cylinder so as to block the cylinder chamber; a vane stored in the vane storing portion, and abutting on an outer peripheral surface of the roller on one end side to divide the cylinder chamber into a low pressure chamber and a high pressure chamber; and a coil-shaped spring disposed in the spring insertion hole, and pressing the other end side of the vane on the roller. On a vane storing portion high pressure side side surface which is the high pressure chamber side of the vane storing portion, an oil supply groove is formed. |
