PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production method which can efficiently produce a peeled piece of a resin thin film formed on a base film.SOLUTION: This invention provides a method of producing a peeled piece of a resin thin film directly formed on a long base film. The production method comprises a step of peeling the resin thin film from the base film, wherein the step of peeling the resin thin film from the base film comprises formation of cracks in the resin thin film.
