PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sample introduction method and sample introduction device that are suitable for dilution and introduction of a sample containing a volatile organic compound, prevent occurrence of gaseous dispersion or air bubble of the sample by compression transfer of the sample, and achieve accurate transfer and accurate measurement of the sample.SOLUTION: A sample 41 is introduced, by compressing means, to a transfer channel 8 between a flow channel 9 for sample dilution and a sample introduction flow channel 6. The sample 41 is temporarily stored in the transfer channel 8. Liquid feeding means 17 is disposed in a diluent introduction channel 7 for introducing a diluent 15 into the transfer channel 8. The liquid feeding means 17 is operated in response to a predetermined dilution rate, thereby pressure-feeding a predetermined amount of diluent 15. |
