PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control method and a control device that can reduce a torque ripple of a brushless motor over a wide torque range although a control form is simple.SOLUTION: A brushless motor 3 calculates a fundamental wave current with which the maximum torque is output, and also calculates a first harmonic component canceling a torque ripple based upon magnet torque and a second harmonic component canceling a torque rippe based upon reluctance torque, according to a correction map 58. In a supply current to winding 25, the first harmonic component or, the first harmonic component and the second harmonic component is selectively superposed on the fundamental wave current accompanying increase or decrease of the fundamental wave current, for example, with 90 A as a switching point. Only the first harmonic component capable of canceling the torque ripple based upon the magnet torque is superposed on the fundamental wave current at 90A or less, and the first harmonic component and second harmonic component are superposed on the fundamental wave current above 90A. |
