<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mechanism of mutual authentication in which an authentication request person authenticates an authentication target person and also the authentication target person authenticates the authentication request person.SOLUTION: An authentication target person captures an authentication pattern image of an authentication request person, and the authentication request person captures an authentication pattern image of the authentication target person. Then, the authentication target person and the authentication request person transmit first authentication information and second authentication information which include pattern IDs corresponding to the respective authentication pattern images and identification IDs of their respective terminals. Mutual authentication is to be performed by determining whether the identification information corresponding to the pattern image of the first authentication information corresponds to the identification information of the terminal having transmitted the second authentication information, and also the identification information corresponding to the pattern image of the second authentication information corresponds to the identification information of the terminal having transmitted the first authentication information.</p> |
