<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a zoom lens having a wide angle of view and high optical performance over the whole object distance.SOLUTION: The zoom lens includes, in order from the object side to the image side, a first lens group L1 having negative refractive power, and a rear group having one or more lens groups and having positive refractive power as a whole, and the distance between the first lens group and the rear group is decreased when zooming from the wide angle end to the telephoto end. The rear group includes, in order from the object side to the image side, a second-a lens group having positive refractive power, a second-b lens group having positive refractive power, and a second-c lens group having positive or negative refractive power. When focusing from infinity to the closest distance, the second-a lens group is moved to the image side, and the second-b lens group is moved to the object side. The focal distance f2a of the second-a lens group and the focal distance f2b of the second-b lens group are set appropriately.</p> |
