<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a float and a liquid level detector capable of suppressing variation of output characteristics. <P>SOLUTION: A float 20 is used for a liquid level detector 1 which detects a liquid level in a tank 10. The float 20 is formed like a hollow having a space inside so as to vertically move according to the liquid level in the tank 10, and provided with an opening 23 on the lower end side to connect the space inside to the outside. In addition, the float 20 includes a magnet 21. The liquid level detector 1 further includes: the float 20; the tank 10 constituted of a nonmagnetic material and storing liquid F its inside; magnetic sensors 41 and 42 provided outside the tank 10 and performing magneto-electric conversion to magnetic flux density to be output; and a liquid level detection part 60 which detects the liquid level from output signals to be obtained from the magnetic sensors 41 and 42. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
