<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluid jetting apparatus capable of performing a wiping operation to a fluid jet head in a wetting state of a wiper, while preventing increase of parts count, and to provide a cleaning device and method in the fluid jetting apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: A controller 27 causes a suction unit to perform a first wiping operation for bringing the wiper 26 into a sliding contact with a nozzle forming surface 19a so as to cross a nozzle opening over a plurality of times, under the condition before making a suction pump 25 perform a suction operation to a recording head 19, and also to perform a second wiping operation for bringing the wiper 26 performing the first wiping operation into a sliding contact with the nozzle forming surface 19a while the suction pump 25 has completed the suction operation to the recording head 19. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
