A mobile terminal device includes a display part, a receiving part that receives an operation to cause an image group displayed in the display part to transition, and a display controller that controls the display part such that the image group displayed in the display part makes transition based on the operation. When the image group is caused to transition, the display controller reduces an image constituting the image group and increases the number of images displayed in the display part.

1. A mobile terminal device comprising:
a display; a receiving module configured to receive an operation to cause an image group displayed in the display to transition; and a display controller configured to control the display such that the image group displayed in the display makes transition based on the operation, wherein the receiving module detects an input to the display, and the display controller
changes a speed of the transition according to a moving speed of a position of the input detected by the receiving module,reduces an image composing the image group and increases the number of images displayed in the display when the moving speed of the position of the input exceeds a predetermined speed, andwhen the input is detected by the receiving module after a state of display in the display becomes the state of display in which the image is reduced, maintains the state of display in which the image is reduced irrespective of the moving speed of the position of the input while the input is being detected.
