A salt water supply unit (1) is provided with: a salt water tank (7) having a salt accommodating part (71) and a salt water retaining part (72); a salt water plate (8) in which salt is placed; a salt water valve device (10) that controls the flow of water supplied from the outside and flow of salt water to the outside and interrupts the flow of supply water when the water level inside the salt water tank (7) has reached a prescribed water level (ML); and a salt water well (9) wherein salt water (W3) of the same water level as salt water (W3) stored in the salt water retaining part (72) is retained and also the salt water valve device (10) is accommodated. The salt water well (9) has an upper connection opening (92) that is connected with the salt water retaining part (72) on the inside surface positioned between the prescribed water level and the upper surface of the salt water plate (8) in the salt water tank (7) and has a lower connection opening (93) connected with the salt water retaining part (72) on the inside surface positioned between the lower surface of the salt water plate (8) and the bottom surface of the salt water tank (7). |
