The information sending method comprises: when control information is sent repeatedly over a plurality of subframes, using one path of candidate paths formed by the combination of downlink control channel or enhanced downlink control channel (PDCCH or EPDCCH) candidates over different subframes and carrying the control information to send the PDCCH or EPDCCH. In the present embodiment, the candidate path can be a subset of all path sets, so that when a user equipment performs blind detection, complexity of the blind detection can be reduced.
