<p>The present invention relates to a continuous process type apparatus and method for treating waste insulating oil containing polychlorinated biphenyl, the apparatus comprising: a pre-treatment bath in which waste insulating oil is fed and then stored and warmed; a mixing and reaction device in which the warmed waste insulating oil is mixed with melted metal sodium while passing through a Venturi tube, and then is first desalted by a chemical reaction of polychlorinated biphenyl contained in the waste insulating oil and the melted sodium, wherein the melted metal sodium is fed into a center portion of the Venturi tube from a reagent supply device connected to the center portion of the Venturi; a cyclone treatment bath in which, while the waste insulating oil and the melted sodium are mixed and second desalted in the procedure of downward transferring the first desalted waste insulating oil in a spiral type, a discharge gas is upwardly discharged by rising vortexes generated in the center of the inside and the desalted waste insulating oil is downwardly discharged; and a post-treatment bath in which, while the second desalted waste insulating oil is fed inside and then cooled at room temperature, sodium chloride and various kinds of precipitates generated at the time of a desalting treatment are precipitated and the waste insulating oil is transferred to a treatment oil storage bath, through a plurality of precipitation and separation baths.</p> |
