PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide fiber cloth useful in automobile airbag fabrics, which is made from multi-filament polyamide yarns having high tenacity and low shrinkage, and to provide a method of efficiently producing the fiber cloth.SOLUTION: A yarn manufacturing process includes spin-drawing molten nylon, relaxing the yarn tension for adjustment, and then winding the yarn. Yarns made according to the process exhibit linear density in the range of 110-940 decitex, tenacity equal to or greater than 80 cN/tex, and shrinkage measured at 177°C of less than 5%. A polyamide comprises poly(hexamethylene adipamide) (nylon 6,6). The linear density of individual filaments comprising the yarn is in the range of 1 to 9 dpf and the linear density thereof is in the range of 110 to 940 decitex. |
