<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus in which a user can pay the appropriate cost of emission rights transactions when using consumables provided with greenhouse gas emission rights.SOLUTION: There is provided an image forming apparatus (1) including communication means connected with a data management server (701) of a customer or a manufacturer, the image forming apparatus including remaining printable sheet number prediction means for predicting the remaining number of sheets printable with consumables being used, remaining printable sheet number determination means for determining whether or not the predicted remaining number of printable sheets is smaller than the remaining number of printable sheets guaranteed by the manufacturer, and information display means for displaying information on the consumables on a display unit (101) when the predicted remaining number of printable sheets is smaller than that guaranteed by the manufacturer, where the information on the consumables includes information indicating the use of recycled plastic, the sales price of the consumables, and information indicating the ratio of the breakdown related to the cost of transactions of greenhouse gas emission rights.</p> |
