<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a profile resin particle having a novel shape capable of improving characteristics such as light diffusability, close adhesivity and oil absorption; and to provide a method for manufacturing the same, and an application of the same. <P>SOLUTION: The profile resin particle includes: a resin layer 1 forming the surface layer thereof; and a resin core 2 including a resin component different from the resin layer 1 and formed inside the resin layer 1, and has a single recess 3. The resin core 2 has an elliptisoidal shape, and is adjacent to the recess 3. The ratio B/A of a minor diameter B of the profile resin particle to a major diameter A thereof is≥0.7. The method for manufacturing the profile resin particle includes: a first step of polymerizing a fluorine-containing (meth)acrylate esteric monomer containing 0.1 to 5 mass% of a polyfunctional monomer to manufacture a resin particle; and a second step of making the resin particle obtained in the first step absorb a (meth)acrylate esteric monomer containing 1 to 50 mass% of a polyfunctional monomer, and polymerizing the resultant. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
