<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow high-speed movement of a mobile device, by finding out a moving route along which the mobile device can travel at higher speed, in searching of a movement route. <P>SOLUTION: The route generation device 10 for generating a moving route for the mobile device which autonomously moves includes a storage device 3 which stores a plurality of stopover positions set between a movement start position and a target arrival position to provide an indication for generation of the moving route; a position detector 5 which detects a current position of the mobile device; and a route search device 9, which generates during movement of the mobile device a moving route for the mobile device to move to a stopover position to be passed through next among the plurality of stopover positions. The route search device 9 generates a plurality of moving route candidates, selects, from the plurality of moving route candidates, a moving route candidate with the highest high-speed travel possibility by calculating high-speed travel possibility for each of the moving route candidates and mutually comparing the high-speed travel possibilities, and sets the selected moving route candidate as the moving route to be actually used. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
