The nucleic acid amplification device (1) is provided with: an introduction section (120) into which a reaction solution containing the target nucleic acid is introduced; a nucleic acid amplification reaction section (110) for amplifying the target nucleic acid contained in the reaction solution introduced into the introduction section (120); and a flow channel (100), which is provided at least in the nucleic acid amplification reaction section (110) and has a capillary force transport mechanism for transporting the reaction solution by capillary force. In the nucleic acid amplification reaction section (110), the target nucleic acid contained in the reaction solution is amplified as the reaction solution is transported by capillary force.
