PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress, when images formed on both front and rear surfaces of a recording medium are read in the single conveyance of the recording medium, for example, deviation in the size of the images on both front and rear surfaces in a result of the reading.SOLUTION: An image for adjustment analysis unit 53 includes: a front surface feature point position specification unit 531 that specifies the positions of feature points on the front surface on the basis of front surface read image data D1; a front surface sheet length calculation unit 532 that calculates the length of a sheet on the front surface and a front surface sheet width calculation unit 533 that calculates the width of a sheet on the front surface; a rear surface feature point position specification unit 534 that specifies the positions of feature points on the rear surface on the basis of rear surface read image data D2; a rear surface sheet length calculation unit 535 that calculates the length of a sheet on the rear surface and a rear surface sheet width calculation unit 536 that calculates the width of a sheet on the rear surface; and a rear surface feature point position correction unit 539 that performs magnification correction to a result of the specification of the positions of the feature points on the rear surface obtained from the rear surface read image data D2 on the basis of a ratio between the length of the sheet on the front surface and the length of the sheet on the rear surface and a ratio between the width of the sheet on the front surface and the width of the sheet on the rear surface. |
