<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and device for inspection of a honeycomb structure capable of easily detecting defects of the partition wall in the honeycomb structure before sealing. <P>SOLUTION: The method of inspecting the honeycomb structure 100 having a plurality of through-holes 110 includes: a process of arranging on one end face, a first member 150A which regulates the entrance/exit of a fluid into/from a part of a plurality of through-holes 110 and permits those into/from the remaining through-holes; a process of arranging on the other end face, a second member 150B which regulates the entrance/exit of the fluid into/from the remaining through-holes 110 and permits those into/from the part of through-holes; a process of applying pressure of the fluid into the honeycomb structure 100 through the first member 150A in such a state as to arrange the first and second members 150A and 150B; and a process of detecting the behavior of the fluid on the second member 150B. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
