PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact solenoid valve of high responsiveness by improving a magnetic circuit.SOLUTION: A solenoid valve has an armature 34 having an egg-shaped cross-section and movable in the vertical direction on a drawing, and a bobbin including a solenoid coil 36 for moving the armature 34 when voltage is applied. The bobbin defines a recessed portion slidably including the armature 34, and provides a linear operation passage of the armature 34 along the longitudinal axis. A flux coupler 38 and a flux bracket 40 form a magnetic circuit with the armature 34 to electromagnetically move the armature 34. The flux bracket 40 has a magnetic pole piece 42 including an egg-shaped cross-section for limiting the movement of the armature along the longitudinal axis, and thereby a stroke length of the armature is determined. |
