<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a travel robot capable of stably ascending and descending stairs of sheep inclination with use of a wind-up device and turning in a small space such as a landing of stairs. <P>SOLUTION: A travel robot is controlled such that one end of a wire 7 or a cable 70 is fixed to an upper portion of stairs 200 when ascending or descending the stairs 200, the wire 7 or the cable 70 is fed when a vehicle body 1 descends the stairs 200, and the wire 7 or the cable 70 is wound up when the vehicle body 1 ascends the stairs 200. An angle detector 9 detects the angle of the vehicle body 1, and on the basis the detected angle, the winding is controlled to stop or start. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
