<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new cooling mechanism for a cutter blade in which the cooling of the cutter blade is ensured in the work condition of an increased thermal load on the cutter blade without complication of the structure therefor. <P>SOLUTION: In the device of this invention, a cutter blade 30 in a cutter device 3 acts on a pavement surface P to form a cut groove Ps on the pavement surface P. The cutter device 3 is provided with the cutter blade 30, a main shaft 21 to drive it, and a pair of presser bosses 35 to fix the cutter blade 30 to the main shaft 21. Each of the pair of presser bosses 35 is provided with a plurality of cooling holes 352 to be released penetrating from the outside surface to the support face of the cutter blade 30, and a cooling fan 353. The rotation of the cutter blade 30 accompanies the rotation of the cooling fan 353, which causes airflow.
