This continuous casting molding device comprises a mold (2) that has: a mold body (2a) that has a vertically oriented casting space having a top inlet into which molten metal flows and a bottom outlet from which a product is removed; and a ring-shaped transition plate (3A) that is disposed in the inlet; wherein molten metal is allowed to flow into the casting space from a hole in the center of the transition plate. The continuous casting molding device further comprises a stirring device (3) that has: a magnetic field device (4) that is provided above a bottom plate of the transition plate so as to sandwich the bottom plate therebetween, that causes vertical lines of magnetic force to run into the casting space, and that has an upper magnet (4a) including a permanent magnet; and a pair of electrodes (5) that include a first electrode (5a) provided on the inlet side and a second electrode (5b) provided on the outlet side, and that generate a magnetic force by having a current flow through the molten metal while the molten metal is in the casting space and by having the flowing current intersect the magnetic force lines. |
