PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medium for cell culture and use of the medium for manufacturing a useful substance.SOLUTION: An animal medium for cell culture comprises hydrophobic D-amino acid and a manufacturing method of a useful substance comprises a step for culturing a cell using a medium for cell culture comprising hydrophobic D-amino acid. The hydrophobic D-amino acid is at least one selected from the group consisting of valine, leucine, phenylalanine and methionine, and has a content of 0.002 to 1% (w/v). The cell to be cultured is a transformant and CHO cell. The useful substance to be produced is an IgG antibody. |
