PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric power tool which can accelerate cooling after a motor is stopped by an overheat protection function.SOLUTION: When the temperature of a switching element of an inverter part 28 exceeds a temperature T1, a control part 27 actuates an overheat protection function. That is, the control part 27 stops a brushless motor 9, lights an LED 29 to inform a user, and sets a threshold value for overcurrent protection to 10 A. Subsequently, when a main trigger switch 18 is turned on, the control part 27 drives the brushless motor 9 using a low load limited mode. That is, the control part 27 sets a duty to 30%, lights the LED 29, and sets the threshold value for overcurrent protection to 10 A to drive the brushless motor 9. |
