PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pulling-type continuous casting apparatus and a pulling-type continuous casting method which involve excellent productivity.SOLUTION: In a pulling-type continuous casting method according to one embodiment of the present invention, an external force is applied to a molten metal M1 held in a holding furnace 101 and the molten metal M2 is cooled while being pulled up from a molten metal surface, whereby the molten metal M2 is solidified. When the molten metal M2 is pulled up from the molten metal surface, the molten metal M2 is pulled together with a core material 200 introduced in the holding furnace 101. By such a configuration, a pulling-type continuous casting method involving excellent productivity can be provided. |
