<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scribing method of a strengthened glass plate capable of smooth cutting-out of an effective surface part, when cutting out an approximately rectangular effective surface part having a curved corner part from the strengthened glass plate.SOLUTION: In a scribing method of a strengthened glass plate, a scribe wheel H is allowed to travel along a boundary between an approximately rectangular effective surface part having a curved corner part and a non-effective surface part enclosing the effective surface part, to thereby form a scribe line S for cutting the strengthened glass plate into the effective surface part and the non-effective surface part. In the scribing method of the strengthened glass plate, the scribe line S is formed so that its depth is deeper at curved portions C1, C3 along the corner part than at a linear portion T1 on the boundary between the effective surface part and the non-effective surface part.</p> |
