<p>Provided is a method for producing a FAD-GDH, which is suitable for a biosensor for use in the self measurement of a blood glucose level and to which a sugar chain is bound in a uniform amount, with high efficiency. A method for producing a FAD-GDH to which a sugar chain is bound in a uniform amount, said method being characterized by involving a step of expressing a FAD-GDH gene represented by the nucleotide sequence represented by SEQ ID NO: 1 or 7 or a nucleotide sequence falling within an equivalent range to the aforementioned nucleotide sequence in a microorganism belonging to the genus Cryptococcus. If desired, a secretion signal peptide sequence represented by any one of SEQ ID NOs: 2 to 6 may be bound to the 5'-terminal side of the FAD-GDH gene. According to the method of the present invention, it becomes possible to produce a FAD-GDH that has a molecular weight of 95 to 100 kDa when the FAD-GDH contains a sugar chain.</p> |
