PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light irradiation device in which a substrate mounted with many light emission elements can be fixed without applying any stress and stable electric power can be supplied to the substrate.SOLUTION: A light irradiation device includes: a light source module having a ceramic-made substrate, a plurality of light emission elements mounted on a substrate surface, and a pair of flexible electrode plates which supply electric power to the plurality of light emission elements and respectively have a base end part and a tip part; a heat sink which abuts on the reverse surface of the substrate; a pair of power supply terminals which supply electric power to the pair of electrode plates; a pair of press members which respectively have one end part and the other end part to elastically press the substrate against the heat sink; and a pair of fastening members which fix the respective electrode plates and the respective press members against the respective power supply terminals. The tip parts are fixed nearby side end parts of the substrate, and the base end parts are provided to project from the side end parts of the substrate. The respective press members are provided such that one end part abuts on the surface of the substrate and covers the respective electrode plates, and base end parts of the respective electrode plates and other end parts of the respective press members are cofastened to the respective power supply terminals by the respective fastening members. |
