<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a notification system which allows a user to perceive lowered residual capacity of the battery of a portable device with a modified control method, without new additional mechanism of the portable device and a vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: A portable device 2 is provided with battery residual capacity detection means which detects battery residual capacity of a battery 5, and transmission means which incorporates the detected battery residual capacity value into operation information to transmit to a vehicle. The vehicle is provided with battery residual capacity determination means 13 which compares the battery residual capacity value incorporated into the transmitted operation information with a first threshold value Vb and a second threshold value Vc, and operation control means 15 which restricts unlocking or locking operation of an outside door handle 3 by a door unlocking or locking device 4 of the vehicle based on the comparison result. Since the operation control means 15 restricts the operation of the door unlocking or locking device 4, a user perceives lowered residual capacity of the battery 5 of the portable device 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
