<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a musical sound generating device which does not produce incompatibility in sound generations, as much as possible, using a simple constitution. <P>SOLUTION: When a determing sectiont 305 determins which one of preset three types of intensity ranges of peak values detected by a signal processing section 300 belongs to, and an assignment instructing section 310 gives a voice assignment instruction to sound source sections (320, 322 and 324), corresponding to the intensity range determind that the detected peak value belongs to, with the corresponding sound source sections (320, 322 and 324) executing sounding operations, in response to the instruction. Each of the three types of sound source sections (320, 322 and 324) is constituted so as to execute the sounding operations of the sounds different in intensity, so that the incompatibility of sound production caused by the difference in intensity, that is, the difference in sound volume level, is eliminated, and musically natural sounding operations is attained. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
