<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device and an optical scanning device capable of enhancing compensation accuracy of light quantity by setting proper reference voltage to a D/A converter feeding current to a semiconductor laser, and a control method for the same. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming device determines the current value for feeding the current to the semiconductor laser by executing APC (automatic power control) and outputs the current of the current value from the first D/A converter. Further the image forming device converts the current value to a voltage value in a current/voltage converting section set the voltage value to the reference voltage of the second D/A converter for executing light quantity compensation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
