1. A device for dispensing a haemostatic paste under pressure, comprising:
a. a container having an interior including a product compartment and a propellant compartment separated from one another, said container having a first end with a haemostatic paste outlet extending from the product compartment, said outlet being openable and closable; b. a valve in communication with the first end of the product compartment; c. a haemostatic paste contained in the product compartment; d. a propellant provided in the propellant compartment; e. a slidable piston separating the product compartment from the propellant compartment.
