The present invention relates to a device for adjusting an extendable portion of a vehicular seat, and the purpose of the present invention is to enable driving using an adjusting mechanism of a simple configuration, which includes no hardware such as a link or a gearbox, while implementing an integrated type without separating the seat body. To this end, the present invention provides a device for adjusting an extendable portion of a vehicular seat, the device comprising: a cover guide driving member for moving a movable member forwards or backwards; and an extension cover member for extending the length of a cover member, one end of the extension cover member being connected to a third bracket of a support member that supports the seat, wherein, when a first bracket mounted on the cover guide driving member makes a forward motion, a carrying member is pushed forward, and an unwinding operation of the extension cover member increases the length of the seat; and, when the first bracket mounted on the cover guide driving member makes a backward motion, a cover guide connected to the lower end of the carrying member is pushed backwards, and a winding operation of the extension cover member decreases the length of the seat. The device makes it possible to freely increase or decrease various lengths of the seat. |
