Disclosed is an inverter air conditioner, comprising a rectifier (110), a step-down transformer (120), a control board (130) and a load (140). The rectifier (110) and the step-down transformer (120) finally convert an input, strong alternating-current electrical signal into a weak direct-current electrical signal, the weak direct-current electrical signal is used for directly supplying power to the control board (130), and in turn the weak direct-current electrical signal is submitted to a corresponding voltage transformation by the control board (130) and then is supplied to various loads (140). Using a consistent direct-current supply simplifies the circuit structure and improves the efficiency of air conditioner installation, the electromagnetic compatibility and the electrical safety.
