<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an opening-closing device capable of achieving at least heat insulation by closing a gap between an opening and an end of a shutter curtain along the opening-closing direction. <P>SOLUTION: A shutter device 1 comprises: a shutter curtain 4; a pair of guide rails 5 having an aperture 51 in which an end 41 of the shutter curtain is inserted to be movable in the opening-closing direction; an end member 6; and a pair of seal members 7. The end member 6 fixed to the end 41 cuts off communication in thickness direction between a front-side space FS and a back-side space BS formed across the shutter curtain 4 through an end face in the width direction of the shutter curtain 4 as viewed in the width direction, having plane parts 63 and 64 formed along the opening-closing direction.
