PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire which allows the weight to be reduced without injuring durability.SOLUTION: A pneumatic tire formed of a fiber-reinforced layer such as a carcass layer is made by applying first twist to polyester filament bundle of fineness of 500 to 900 dtex, using a polyester cord which is the cord of two folded twist structure made by applying first twist to lines of polyester filament bundles subjected to the first twist, has a twist coefficient K defined by T×(D/1.39)when the average twist number of second twist and first twist is T(time/10 cm) and the total display fineness is D(dtex), of 800 to 1200, and coating fiber material made of the polyester code with a rubber composition of a viscosity measured in conditions at temperature of 100°C and at shear speed of 1000(1/s), of 4500 to 6500 Pa s. |
