<p>- 1 The present invention is directed to a tyre cradle for use in changing a tyre of a vehicle. The tyre cradle has a tyre support member to support the tyre in an upright 5 position and a base member slidably engagable with the tyre support member. When the base member is positioned adjacent an axle hub, the tyre support member can slide towards and away from the axle hub while the base member remains stationary.
