PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light projection device that can appropriately adjust the luminance of light projected on a projection surface in either of a first state or a second state.SOLUTION: A projector device 1 includes: illuminance acquisition means including an illuminance sensor 18 and a CPU 10 for acquiring first illuminance that is the illuminance of the surroundings when used in a placed state (for example, first state), and second illuminance that is the illuminance of the surroundings when used in a suspended state (for example, second state); and luminance setting means including the CPU 10 and a memory 12 for setting the luminance (lamp power) of light to be projected on the surface (projection surface) of a screen when used in the suspended state on the basis of the first and second illuminances. |
