<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To structure a system so as to avoid writing operation into a nonvolatile memory device, prevent reliability of the nonvolatile memory device from being deteriorated more and prevent data breakage of the nonvolatile memory device when the lifetime of the nonvolatile memory device is ending.SOLUTION: A control tool is structured so as to acquire statistical information on a nonvolatile semiconductor memory from a semiconductor memory device, record the statistical information in the semiconductor memory, calculate the remaining lifetime of the semiconductor memory on the basis of the acquired statistical information and cause a display device to display the result including the remaining lifetime. A host device prohibits writing into the semiconductor memory when the lifetime of the semiconductor memory is ending.</p> |
