PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce in-rush current produced when switching energization to a plurality of actuators, and to suppress reduction in thrust of the actuators.SOLUTION: An actuator drive unit includes a first actuator (DC motor) for driving a zoom lens in accordance with a zoom drive signal, and a second actuator (DC solenoid) for driving a shutter in accordance with a shutter drive signal. A bridge circuit supplies drive currents to the first and second actuators respectively. A motor control section performs speed control so that zoom lens driving speed becomes preset speed and controls timing for switching to shutter-driving during zoom-driving to energize the second actuator. The motor control section restricts the amount of current to be supplied to the first actuator when resuming zoom-driving by switching energization to the first actuator after switching energization from the first actuator to the second actuator.
