<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fire-retardant composition excellent in flame resistance, heat resistance, and mechanical properties and having prolonged service life, and to provide a molded article using the composition. <P>SOLUTION: The fire-retardant composition comprises (A) a chlorinated polyethylene, (B) a halogen containing elastomer, (C) a micro capsulated nitrogen containing polyphosphate, (D) a polyhydric alcohol, (E) a foaming agent, (F) a plasticizer containing a polyester plasticizer and (G) an expandable graphite, wherein the content of (F) the plasticizer is 10-25 pts.wt. per 100 pts.wt. of (A) the chlorinated polyethylene. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
